Lectures and workshops
The lectures and workshops arise from a simple but often overlooked fact: Daoism, as a historical and authentic philosophical-religious system, remains relatively little known in the West. Despite its great influence on Chinese culture, medicine, and spirituality, only a limited number of specialists engage with it within contemporary scholarly research, and there are likewise few practitioners and communities in direct contact with institutions such as the Chinese Taoist Association and the World Federation of Daoism (WFD). As a result, Daoism in the West often appears in simplified or partly distorted interpretations that cannot reflect its actual complexity and depth.
For this reason, our lectures and practical workshops have an important role. They are intended to create a space for deeper understanding, in which participants encounter not only theoretical concepts, but also their context and meaning within the living Daoist tradition. The emphasis is on conveying verified, well-grounded, and authentic information drawn from historical, reliable sources and contemporary research, while also maintaining contact with the practical aspects of Daoist teachings.
Through lectures and workshops, we aim to move beyond superficial knowledge and offer direct insight into Daoism as an integral system of thought and practice. We offer participants the opportunity to develop a clearer, undistorted understanding and to establish their own reflective relationship with this rich spiritual tradition.
