Research initiative of the Slovenian Daoist Temple

Invitation to Collaborate

The Research Initiative of the Slovenian Daoist Temple aims to establish a long-term platform for philosophical and interdisciplinary dialogue between Daoist intellectual traditions and contemporary Western scientific and social paradigms. Its purpose is to explore alternative conceptual frameworks concerning human existence, social organization, the human–nature relationship, and pathways toward sustainable development.

The long-term goal of the Research Initiative is to establish a research centre and an academic publishing platform dedicated to the development of Daoist studies in Slovenia and internationally.

At this stage of development, we invite researchers, university lecturers, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, advanced students, translators, and other specialists in the fields of Daoist studies, sinology, religious studies, philosophy, history, anthropology, and related disciplines to contribute to the formation of this emerging research platform.

The platform aims to create a professionally curated environment for Daoist studies, connecting researchers, translators, students, and other specialists, and contributing to the development and greater visibility of Daoist studies in Slovenia and internationally.

All contributions are subject to editorial review. The editorial board reserves the right to propose substantive and stylistic revisions and to decide on publication in accordance with the editorial guidelines of the Research Initiative.

Contributions may be written in Slovenian or English. Contributions in other languages may be accepted by prior agreement with the editorial board.
