EventsCelebrating the Festival of Doumu, Mother Goddess of the Stars
18 October 2026, 10:00 — 11:00 | Main Temple
Admission is free; donations are welcome.
About the event
The goddess Doumu is the Great Mother of the stars of the Big Dipper. She is the goddess of fate, the cycle of life and longevity, protecting against misfortune … and also a protector of women. She represents the origin of the stars, their balance, and the bright feminine principle—a counterpart to the dark Zhenwu, protector of Wudangshan.
On Sunday, 18 October, at 10:00 a.m., we will hold a Daoist ritual in her honour and in honour of the ninth day of the ninth month.
You are warmly invited!
